Stratus Building Solutions added seven new regions and 275 Unit Franchisees over the course of the year. This is a growth rate of more than 14 percent. New Master franchise regions were also added including Las Vegas, Nevada; Columbus, Ohio; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Hampton Roads, Virginia; Orlando, Florida; Sonoma, California and Columbia, South Carolina.
“When the pandemic started, we were not sure how people would react when it comes to investing in a company,” said Afshin Cangarlu, Stratus Building Solutions CEO. “The growth we have seen this year shows how valuable commercial cleaning is, even during really tough economic times.”
The COVID-19 pandemic put a big spotlight on commercial cleaning companies which jumped into action to help businesses across the country clean and disinfect their spaces. Stratus Building solutions saw a 222 percent increase in special service sales from 2019 to 2020, which shows the shift in the marketplace. Stratus disinfected more than 10,000 buildings from the end of February to December.
