Stratus Climbs in 2023’s Franchise Times 400 Ranking

Stratus Jumps 39 Spots to #272

Stratus Building Solutions, an industry-leading franchise in green commercial cleaning, is thrilled to announce its ranking on the 2023 Franchise Times 400 list. After being listed at #311 the previous year, Stratus Building Solutions vaulted nearly 40 spots in this year’s list to #272.

The Franchise Times Top 400 is an exclusive annual ranking of the largest U.S.-based franchise systems by global systemwide sales. The project is the result of a five-month research and reporting effort that leads to the most credible and objective franchise ranking available.

With an emphasis on green cleaning, Stratus Building Solutions has become an industry trailblazer when it comes to B2B cleaning services focusing on environmental responsibility. In 2022, the Los Angeles-based company saw an over 23% growth in sales with a 16.1% growth in total units. Stratus now has over 3,200 units across the United States and Canada.

According to the Franchise Times 400, cleaning brands, whether they were serving homes or businesses, had consistent growth in 2022 with $12.8 billion in sales, marking a 10.6% rise. For commercial cleaning in particular, the subcategory had a 10.8 percent increase in sales, to $4.6 billion.
