According to a press release from Status Building Solutions, Wegner's decision to expand is a good opportunity for the area because the demand for green cleaning janitorial services has escalated in recent years, with local businesses, offices, and others seeking healthier alternatives to cleaning their workspaces. It’s also an important development for Stratus Building Solutions, which has been growing in size and stature throughout North America since its founding in 2006.
When the pandemic hit, it created an opportunity in the commercial cleaning market for companies with a high attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service. Wegner thinks the time is right to expand into Sonoma and the surrounding region. With this year’s events, he has been seeing a lot of preventative COVID cleaning and decontamination at businesses.
“The area is really expanding because businesses are moving outside of San Francisco,” said Wegner. “With the pandemic, I felt like now was the right time to make this expansion since more offices and businesses are requesting disinfecting and sanitizing services.”
The new Stratus location has been open and operating since October with cleaning services happening frequently. This territory will cover Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, and Paloma.
“In March, we saw a huge increase in requests for special services,” said Wegner. “As we were doing the jobs and getting the inquires, we noticed so many from the Sonoma area. It made sense to open an office in this region.”
